In March 2019, the city of Fort Collins partnered with Rubicon as part of a six-month pilot program. Rubicon is a technology company that provides recycling and smart city solutions to businesses and governments around the world.

Rubicon technology has been installed in the City’s street sweeping fleet, helping the city manage street sweeping routes, dispatching and vehicle location, and allowing drivers to flag problems and obstacles on roads throughout the city of Fort Collins. The pilot consists of installing high-definition cameras and advanced telematics devices in 8 city sweepers and telematics in 44 city snowploughs.
